• The committee is dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive, and hassle-free environment for female students and staff within the campus community, aiming to enhance their self-respect, confidence, and overall well-being.
• Regular meetings are held with staff and students to address any concerns or grievances, ensuring prompt and effective resolution whenever issues arise.
• Expert lectures by influential professionals specializing in women’s safety, empowerment, and legal rights are frequently organized. These sessions, along with regular seminars, provide valuable insights and guidance to empower and inform the campus community.
Committee Details
The Women Development Cell of Government Polytechnic, Bhuj, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, Bhuj, successfully organized a Haemoglobin Testing Drive for female students. A total of 44 female students from the Computer, Civil, Electrical, and Mining Engineering departments participated in the drive and benefitted from the initiative.
